# Translate your offers

> Show each offer in your customers' own language, with a fallback to your wording.

Customers are more likely to accept an offer they can read in their own language. Each offer can carry translations of its heading, text and buttons, and Attravo shows the one that matches the customer. Customers see translations on the Scale and Enterprise plans.

On Free and Growth, **Languages** names the plan that includes translations in place of **Add a language**. Translations already on an offer are kept, and customers see them again on Scale or Enterprise.

## Add a language

1. Open the offer and scroll to **Languages**.
2. Choose a language under **Add a language**.

3. Fill in the translation of each line. Each field shows your original wording above it and the block it comes from below it. The badge counts how many are done.

4. Select **Save** at the top of the window.

Anything you leave blank falls back to your original wording. **Remove** takes a language off the offer.

## How the language is chosen

Attravo uses the language the customer's checkout is shown in:

1. The exact language and region, such as French (Canada).
2. Otherwise the same language, such as French, or the same language in another region.
3. Otherwise your original wording.

The words Attravo adds itself, such as **Added to your order** and **Step 2 of 3**, come in English and French.

## Good to know

- Checklist and trust point lines are not translated. They show in your original wording.
- Placeholders such as `{{customer.first_name}}` work in every language. Keep them as they are.
- To preview a language, choose it in the language menu at the right of the preview bar. The menu appears once the offer has a language.
