# Add leads to your Shopify customers

> Turn every quiz lead into a Shopify customer tagged with their answers, ready for segments and campaigns.

Every lead can become a customer in your Shopify admin, tagged with the answers they picked. You can then build segments, such as everyone with oily skin, and reach them with Shopify Email or any app that reads your customers. It's free on every plan.

## Turn it on or off

It's on for every new store.

1. Open **Settings** in the app.
2. Under **Leads**, tick or untick **Add leads to your Shopify customers**.
3. Select **Save**.

Turning it off stops new leads from being added. Customers already added stay in Shopify.

## What's added

- **New shoppers** become customers with their email, plus their name and phone when the quiz asked for them.
- **Customers you already have**, matched by email, get the new tags, plus a name or phone they didn't have before.
- **Tags** are the tags of the answers they picked, such as **acne** or **spf**, added to any tags the customer already has.
- **An address**, when the quiz has an **Address** question, is added to the customer.

The lead then shows **shopify** under **Synced to** in **Leads**.

## Find them in Shopify

In your Shopify admin, open **Customers** and filter by tag, or create a segment on the tags you want. Customers added from a quiz haven't agreed to email marketing, so check that before you send them marketing emails.
