# Uninstall Product Quiz Maker

Uninstalling removes Product Quiz Maker's data from the app for good, while everything it already added to your Shopify store stays. Export what you want to keep first.

## Before you uninstall

- [ ] Export your leads from **Leads** with **Export CSV**. See [View and export your leads](https://help.attravo.com/product-quiz/articles/view-and-export-your-leads.md).
- [ ] Note any numbers you want from **Analytics**.
- [ ] Remove quiz links you added yourself, such as `#quizz` menu items and buttons with a quiz ID.

## Uninstall the app

1. In your Shopify admin, open **Settings** > **Apps**.
2. Find the app, open its menu and select **Uninstall**.
3. Confirm.

Shopify ends a Pro subscription when you uninstall.

## What's removed

As soon as you uninstall, the app deletes everything it holds for your store:

- your quizzes, their questions and their results setup
- the leads, answers and analytics they collected
- the quiz orders it linked, and your settings, including your Klaviyo and Mailchimp keys

Shopify asks the app again 48 hours later to erase the store's data, and anything left is deleted then.

The quiz blocks and app embeds stop showing on your store, and the attribution pixel is removed.

## What stays in Shopify

- **Customers** the quizzes added, with their answer tags.
- **Order tags** on quiz orders, such as **quiz-attributed**.
- **Discount codes** you created for a quiz.
- **Pages, menu items and theme code** you added yourself, such as a page for the quiz or a `#quizz` link.
- **Contacts in Klaviyo or Mailchimp** that leads created.

If you install the app again later, you start fresh with a new setup guide.
