Find where shoppers drop off
Read the conversion funnel from view to order, and fix the step where your quiz loses the most shoppers.

The conversion funnel follows shoppers from seeing a quiz to placing an order, so you can see which step loses the most people and fix that one first. It's part of Pro.
Read the funnel
Open Analytics. Conversion funnel sits beside the chart, for the period you chose.

Each step shows its count, and under it its share of the step before.
| Step | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Views | Times a quiz loaded on your store. |
| Starts | Shoppers who answered the first question. |
| Completions | Shoppers who reached their results. |
| Leads | New emails captured. |
| Results button clicks | Clicks on the results page's main button. |
| Add to cart | Products added to the cart from the results, one for each product. |
| Orders | Orders linked to a quiz. |
A step can pass 100%. Shoppers who skip the email step still use the results button, so clicks can outnumber leads. A set adds several products in one click, so Add to cart can be several times the clicks.
Fix the weakest step
| Where shoppers leave | What usually helps |
|---|---|
| Between views and starts | A clearer first question, or the quiz where shoppers hesitate. See Choose where each quiz shows. |
| Between starts and completions | Fewer questions: five to seven keep completion high. See Show a question only after certain answers. |
| Between completions and leads | A reason to share an email, such as saving their routine. See Ask for an email before results. |
| Between completions and clicks | Better matches, or a set bought with one button. See Results show the wrong products. |
| Between adds and orders | A reason to buy now, such as a discount with the results. See Offer a discount with results. |
